Chef Reuben Laws, III

A New Orleans native, Chef and Owner Reuben Laws, III started working in the restaurant industry at an early age and always enjoyed being in the kitchen. It was under the direction of Chef Tom Wolfe of Wolfe’s of New Orleans that he discovered that he had a passion for the industry and decided to go to culinary school. After graduating from Johnson and Wales University he moved home to New Orleans to complete his internship at Brennan’s. In 2004 he returned to the kitchen at Wolfe’s as Sous Chef. In May of 2005 Reuben accepted a position as Sous Chef at Fire! A Restaurant. Later that year he became Executive Chef and redesigned the menu to showcase his unique style and flavors. When Fire moved to Florida in the summer of 2007 Reuben decided to open his own restaurant. The Store opened its doors in August 2007.
